Wainberg v. Piedmont

This series of articles following a wrongful termination lawsuit that dredged up allegations of corruption and sexual assault at Piedmont College won the 2020 Georgia College Press Association award for investigative journalism.

MT. VERNON MILLS CLOSES

When Mt. Vernon Mills in Alto, Georgia closed its doors on March 9, 2020, it left nearly 600 workers unemployed-- some homeless. A now-unemployed worker of 29 years asks her community to "pray or us all."

DEMOREST CITY COUNCIL GETS HEATED

A city council meeting grew heated as tensions regarding city funds, an open letter, and budget discrepancies came to light during public comments. This article (as well as several of my other Now Habersham articles) is mentioned in the 2020 James M. Cox Jr. Community Journalism Award.
